What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Audio and video recording at Northwest Nazarene University and recording course from Army Band conference.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a photo household. My father had several cameras and I did my own dark room. I photographed a couple of weddings in the 1970. Then started shooting VHS projects editing some on my Mac in the 1990s. Started shooting video of my church services and someone asked me to do their wedding and it grew from there. I love being able to give the video
or photos to the couple or families that they will treasure and see their eyes light up.

I read the request and need to discuss the wedding or event to be recorded to determine what is the desired outcome. Most often this is at a face-to-face meeting.
Most of my clients want to document their special day with a video of their Wedding Ceremony, and main points of the Reception. This could be an unedited recording of the Ceremony lasting twelve minutes. Or a huge Church ceremony and Mass lasting ninety minutes. Including the reception, the editing requires up to fifty hours.
